At Barrier, we deliver the highest level of personal service and attention to everyone. After establishing a successful automotive career in the Eastern United States, Jimmy Barrier founded Barrier Motors, Inc. Moving to Bellevue; Mr. Barrier oversaw the construction and Grand Opening of Barrier Motors and the new Mercedes-Benz store in April of 1985. Success was immediate and he, along with his wife, Patty Barrier, fell instantly in love with the beautiful Northwest and its inhabitants. They have been actively involved in their adopted community through various charitable and civic concerns ever since. In the years since, Barrier Motors has grown to encompass five new automotive franchises: Volvo, Maybach, Porsche, Audi, and of course, Mercedes-Benz.
What makes us different? A Sales Consultant at Barrier is not paid to sell a car. Our consultants are compensated in advance for the care and service they are expected to render to each client after the sale. They consider it a down payment on the effort they will expend on behalf of their clients for the duration of their relationship. We're proud that many of our consultants have been with the Barrier organization since we opened our doors in 1985. As a token of our appreciation for our clients, Barrier hosts a series of Track Days each summer. They're as much fun as you can legally have in your car.
